Whispers and rumours shoot daggers at my back.
Lies force knifes through my skin.
Broken Promises slit my throat.
Threats burn my flesh.
My heart is set fire with anger.
My pride is whipped.
My courage is electrocuted.
My determination drowned,
While the pressure has dissolved my skin.
Expectations have soaked up my blood.
Hatred has buried my bones.
Revenge takes over me.
Though body, blood, flesh, and bones have been thrashed down to nothing,
My soul remains invincible.
